You see, two days ago, before the end of City College and on the day of the finals, I was in the games' room in the cafeteria trying my hand at the DDR machine. Since I haven't played it since October (or sometime last year) I wanted to see how good I am now.
I FAILED.
The DDR machine doesn't actually have a two player game, so I got to go first while my friend, Jen, would wait for the next song. But, since I let friends who had experience with it do the settings for me, Jen picked the 'Standard' level. And I, so foolishly, picked the song "We Will Rock You" by Queen, having liked that song and thought it something to dance to (you know, since it's so slow).
WRONG!!!
The complicated footwork and my nervous feet against such a slow song branded me in front of my friends as:
THE TEN SECOND FAILURE
WHY ARE MY FEET SO UNCOORDINATED?!?!?
It wasn't until the next day that I wised up and picked the 'Light' level and played "Little Butterfly" that I actually went half-way into the second game, much to Ari and my friends surprise...
And so, that was the second time I played DDR in front of people that I had so much fun, tho' the first time I played it I held up much longer...
Ah well...
