Zen Crib Notes

The figure skating was awesome tonight. In particular, China's figure skating teams.

I thought that Shen Xue and Zhao Hongbo were very deserving of the gold medal and that I can feel their relief when they knew China had secured Gold when fellow teammates Pang Qing and Tong Jian reached the mark first. You know, the pressure to get the gold for the country was lessened a bit when they knew Pang and Tong got it before they scored better.

I also thought that the Russian team would have been so pretty and sensual if they had done everything right. It really was a shame when they made those three mistakes because, aesthetically, I liked their routine more. Too bad, Yuko Kavaguti and Alexander Smirnov. Maybe next time. 

But hey, the Russian winning streak has finally been broken.
