For the sake of being spontaneous...
Yesterday I took a nap on the couch since the night before I decided it's a good idea to stay up all night and see what'll happen on Monday. End result: Need of a nap after ditching Film 101.
Someone tuned in to CNN and I don't know how, but during a segment on TV, I had a Fullmetal Alchemist dream where Maes Hughes was explaining why there are no gays in the military and that they are not anti-gay themselves, something like that.
And like the person I am when listening to Maes Hughes explaining these things, while normally wouldn't on real life people, I agree in my head, "yes, that makes perfect sense, Hughes."
I can't believe how... I guess, appropriate the dream is. Like, it's Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. I watched it recently. It's a military show, basically, so why wouldn't Hughes explain to me why there are no gays in military? *shrugs*
Also, relating to yesterday.
I was sititng on my butt reading Tsubasa Chronicles when out of nowhere, like on my peripheral vision, some scruffy old guys in whacked out clothes pass by the Country music section and was all "Yah, Boston was the shit man" and then heard one of them say "Hey, girl" in MY direction.
Playing the benefit of the doubt and certainly not looking up from reading the dialogue in the manga so as to entertain the thought one of them's addressing me, I ignored them.
UNTIL THEY PASSED ME BY AGAIN AND SAID, "Hey, my name's Rocky what's your name?"
This time, I was too shocked to even look up. Seriously, man, it's not fun have creepy guys make a pass to you when you didn't even give them any attention in the first place. While reading manga. Especially when there's already another middle aged man with a receding hairline perusing the manga shelves while humming and talking to himself. Who, I think, was semi-following me because when I moved to a different aisle, he follows me and did it again when I moved again.
Needless to say, I walked quickly out of the store after fulfilling my literary cravings.
