China Update- the span of the 22nd to the 27th. I ALSO LEAPT TWO DAYS INTO THE FUTURE,

Currently in Hong Kong! 

Happy Boxing day! 

I got here at Christmas Eve, which means that I’ve been on a plane for 16 hours and also jumped forward a whole day while in transit from California to HK. I’m from the future. At around…. 1 AM in the morning!

Whoo? 

Kinda not jetlagged, but also getting a lot of sleep. 

Tomorrow I’m going to hop on a train with the family to go to Guanzhou until January 3 or 4th. At some point in between, there will be a hot springs resort ^_^

 It’s twenty to midnight here in Guangzhou. 

Spent the 27th by going on a train from Hong Kong to here with the whole family so we can get to my grandparents’ other apartment. Chilled out in it while continuous groups of family members swing by for a big dinner and a lot of teasing. 

There’s like, seven other extended family members that came to visit me, and I’ve seen them last time back in May and June when only me and my brother came to visit here. It seems to be a favorite topic to discuss which one of us siblings are better at understanding Chinese and which one holds chopsticks better ^^; 

Tomorrow we’re going on a tour bus to some tourist site. Details expectedly vague, but we’re going to spend the night at a hotel there. I expect good things. Also, must remind myself to bring tissue packets. And hand sanitizer.
