Oct. 5th, 2013 01:03 am I may have made an internet acquaintance uncomfortable, but I can't get it out of my mind as to why use Flaubert and Shakespeare as proof to how female characters can be written like actual humans and then use them to compare with Stephanie Meyer when she writes her characters; with the addendum that Romeo and Juliet also have these overwhelming feelings that are full of platitudes, and I'm like, why use dead guys that are over 2 centuries dead as counterarguments to a quote by Junot Diaz when talking about his 21st century students and how he grades male students and female students, especially in how they write their opposite sex characters in their writing.
Also, I got passive aggressive on my tumblr, so that's mean of me to do so to my acquaintance. So I feel awkwardness in me finding out how to reconcile with them.
