I'm pretty far in the game, too. This may account for why I'm doing last minute essay on Spinoza currently ^^; ....and late minute essay on Simone du Beauvoir o_O
This game is ruining me! Emotionally and my life! How far are you in it?
Now, I'm in chapter 8, having grinded up a lot and did a lot of the story campaign. The feels just bombard you with each crystal and chapter, as well as the world itself being so richly crafted. I'm really impressed by Bravely Default. Also, that Red mage dude is totally gross. It's interesting what the dev team thought about doing Florem itself, and how it got to its state. Interesting in that well-trodden usual way to the point of worn-shoed trope about an all-women society, I suppose, but interesting nevertheless.
