zen_monk On Monday, I got me a shiny new bike which earned the outrage of my parents telling me I should've just gotten a used fixie since I'm going to skedaddle home after graduation.
And then on the following Tuesday night, I found out that a bike light is impervious to the camoflauge techniques of a curb that's painted black, and so i fell over when going down a slope and skinned hand and knee and elbow. Earning comments from my parents "You've never changed since you were 12 years old!" Which dampened further bike rides until my knees stops leaking bodily fluids (which might be now!)
Starting to think my parents were right; especially when I started to think about their word-for-word reprimands whenever I recall the current fight I have with my friend.
In other weekly news, I just reread the syllabus and found that the research paper i agreed to help a friend for money is actually 25-30 pages rather than an actual 20 (or the 15 I thought was what it was when i took on that job). Guess more pages to write about modern fairy tales... And I'm starting to think that Final Fantasy X-2 is actually better than the first game. I guess it's that it goes right into the fun and not just a long line of "go to point A to get to Point B."
