Zen Crib Notes

My first anthropomorphic animal fiction series that I've read was Redwall.

It was the first one that I've loved that has a whole cast of animals, mostly rodents, and that they're all seem to live in a perpetual feudal era with warlords and warrios, sea pirates and foot soldiers, and civilians in between.

The food descriptions always made me hungry.

The series that spanned over twenty books were penned by an Englishman named Brian Jacques and he recently died of a heart attack that came from a complication of an aortic aneurysm.
