In which I'm in that stage in grieving where I'm bargaining, but it's with myself and that I'm trying to say "oh well see even if you sucked so badly on this one class, you have three others to make up on and look they're all lit classes and remember you just got that 87 on that Hamlet test, and then you got that British literature thing and then that Topics in literature honors thing, and do well in all of those who cares if you got a D in Comparative World Religions, yeah it'll all work out ^_^"

....until you realize that UC Santa Cruz just went "whooops, noooope you can't be doing that, no admission for you!"

Well, I did calculate my GPA and it's not going to plummet me down to below 2.0, which is the usual default bottom line for admissions.

But man, my pride would still hurt.
